Dr. Tom

Dr. Tom Daborn

VETERINARIAN

Dr. Tom is a graduate of the Royal Veterinary College in the United Kingdom. He grew up on a sheep farm in South East England and emigrated to Alberta with Bryony shortly after graduation.

Tom began his career as a large animal veterinarian in Brooks before completing a research project at the University of Calgary focusing on Bull Lameness. The wide, open spaces and can-do attitude of producers led Tom and Bryony to settle in Medicine Hat, where they are raising their young family. He enjoys being involved in the community and is always keen to chat about cows.

VETERINARIAN

Having graduated and moved to Alberta together with Tom, Bryony has worked as a mixed veterinarian in Southern Alberta. She has always enjoyed the variety and fast pace of mixed work and is a skilled small animal surgeon.

Bryony particularly enjoys calving season and providing spay/ neuter services for farm pets. She has always gone above and beyond in search of new challenges – volunteering with the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force and coordinating shelter services. In her spare time, Bryony enjoys team penning, skiing and spending time at the lake with Tom and Little Freddie.

Robyn

Robyn Andersen

RVT

Robyn grew up on an acreage in central Alberta and was always involved in the neighbourhood activities with livestock.
After graduating from Olds College Animal Health Technology program in 2006, she has spent most of her career in rural community practice in central Alberta, working with a varied large animal caseload including beef cows, bison and elk work. She has also spent stints in an equine surgery/referral clinic and teaching at Olds College

As well as working full time Robyn has been breeding high quality dairy goats for almost 15 years.
Robyn moved to the Medicine Hat area in 2020 and brought the horses, dogs, cats and dairy goats south.
She and Jordan are kept busy with their two small humans and are enjoying raising them on the farm.

Cheyanne Laturnus

Reception

Cheyanne has been around animals her entire life thanks to her ranching background, working with beef cattle and working horses.

Growing up in the ranching community instilled in her the value of hard work, responsibility, and caring for animals of all kinds.

When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her barrel racing with her son, Tyce, or spending time on the ranch with her family making memories together.
